Not one to miss a beat, once he discovered his love for singing in church, he took it home and ran with it. Growing up he was in singing groups with family memebers and friends. These groups were extremely talented and eventually generated buzz with such labels as LaFace and So So Def. After various ups and downs kevyn decided to strike off on his own as a solo artist and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream.

In LA, he's performed at many different concerts, music festivals, and various clubs. Although he is a skilled showman and puts on a great stage show, Kevyn does equally as well in small intimate venues, where he says "All I need is a mic and my voice".

once after a performance in Los Angeles, Kevyn was invited to be a part of a singing group and sign with Hollywood Records. Although it was a tempting offer, he declined and continued to forge his own way. A gifted writer, Kevyn is breeze to work with in the studio. Producers often marvel at how fast he is at getting his ideas out and how good they are. Just as easily, Kevyn is also able to write for other artists, taking his style and blending it effortlessly with their own, creating timeless songs.

Currently he's working with different producers, including KhyKel's very own Torrey "Tact Boogie" Adams, while expanding his creativity and constantly recording the best songs possible. Most recently Kevyn has performed at showcases in Las vegas, been featured on Las Vegas radio and has been invited to perform in Houston, TX and Northern California. Also with an avid European fan base, Kevyn plans on getting out there soon in order to share his music face to face with his fans.
