In Chicago, IL, Lamont Easter, Jr. was born to two adoring parents who loved music. Being raised in Pasadena, Ca, and growing up mostly shy, he began expressing himself silently through creativity and intelligence. Dancing, drawing and writing were among his artistic endeavors while his parents played music of all kinds, all of which led to the puzzle of sounds connecting within his soul. With a love for diversity, LeMatiq had many career desires before he realized that the arts were his calling and during his high school years, the many faces of music began to beg for his heart. The strong desire to pursue a career in the performing arts and a vision of touching the hearts of the world, spreading love, joy, and a message of understanding, is what attracted the eye and ear of KhyKel Music Enterprises. The many talents of LeMatiq include choreography, songwriting, poetry and composing musicS. His ultimate goal is to build a business empire that will last in any weather and inspire many people in different ways, creating some of his own happiness in doing so. LeMatiq recently had some of his compositions placed in an online interactive video game called "GoDance". Among all the struggles in life, he looks to his talents to escape the reality where he expresses the true meaning of freedom. |
